Welcome to the Data Center where SettlementRoom's primary servers are located. The data center is the size of 3 football fields and is one of the premier data centers in the United States.

 

No one, not even our President, is granted access unless they are pre-announced, pre-authorized, show multiple forms of ID, signed in and badged upon entry, and escorted by data center personnel or onsite staff. There are several sets of coded and locked doors to pass through before getting to the floor.

 

Retina scan technology, along with several other security technologies, protects the inner areas.

 

Of course, all areas are monitored electronically and visually 24x7, shown below.

 

SettlementRoom's servers are contained in locked cabinets within the data center. Fiber optic feeds bring virtually unlimited bandwidth. Power, air conditioning, and internet backbone connections are all highly redundant.

 

The below is a view from an office like the one occupied by our server manager within the data center, high above the center floor. Some of the World's largest companies are also major tenants in this data center (yes, even bigger than SettlementRoom!).

 

All connections are monitored continuously in the high tech "war room."

 

Maintaining the highly redundant and intensive cooling, power, and Internet systems takes a lot of mechanical equipment, below. Generators and water to keep the center active for up to 3 weeks in the event of a power/water shortage are onsite as well.
